PUBLIC PROCUREMENT LAW
When public authorities or bodies, such as the state, state companies, municipalities and county councils, to a greater extent purchase goods or services, a so-called public procurement is carried out according to special regulations. Private companies will, under certain conditions, be given the opportunity to participate in and submit tenders. As a supplier, it is important to carefully review and understand the tender documents and to design the tender correctly to avoid to be disqualified on formal basis. As a contracting authority, it is important to carefully think through the forms of procurement, evaluation the results in order to avoid costly and lengthy review processes and problems during the contract period.
Rosengrens assists both contracting authorities and suppliers (tenderers) throughout the procurement process. We review procurement documents such as tender documents, specifications and agreements and evaluate and assist with reviews, invalidation and damages processes.
